“Nice to Meet You” at YSA II

The energy at Young Saudi Artists exhibition was spectacular. It was nerve-wracking to still be working on my installation when people were starting to arrive, but I couldn’t have done it without the help of Athr‘s ever hardworking team, fellow artist and writer Saad Bin Mohammad and my handy friend Yousef Kurdi. It’s a dream come true to exhibit in one of the leading contemporary art galleries in Saudi Arabia.

Below are some pictures of my artist statement and installation “Nice to Meet You” at the exhibition, taken by my brother, friends, bloggers and myself. The entire exhibition and exhibited work will be reviewed in the next post.

Two very inspirational people: Ayman Al Britton and his wonderful wife Fatimah

Finally met Naima Rashid from Jeddah Blog!
